“How to Successfully Pitch an Animated Cartoon”

Mike Gray (Nicktoon’s Thom Cat) Join Mike for this step-by-step presentation on the entire process of creating, pitching, selling, and producing an animated short. Focus will be on the development of his character Thom Cat from a comic book to storyboard pitch to successfully produced animated short for the Random Cartoons show on Nicktoons. Also covering the development process of the short The Infinite Goliath (co-created with Erik Knutson) also for Nicktoons, including a screening of both animated shorts, and followed by an Q&A session. I will be at Wondercon in Artist’s Alley on April 2-4th, 2010 in San Francisco at the Moscone Center, and then I will be the Cartoonist-in-residence at the Charles Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa on Saturday May 8th…if you can make it to one or both, I would love to see you there!
