“How to Spot a ManChild”

Most of the time I can deflect the “ManChild” diagnosis from friends and family by pointing to the fact that as a cartoonist and animator all of my toys, comics, and animated cartoon collections are actually just reference (and completely integral to me keeping gainfully employed). The wearing of comic book themed clothing is actually the same as a businessman wearing an Armani suit, and the question shouldn’t be “Why are you wearing a Spider-man shirt to your interview,” but “Why not wear the Ditko Spider-man shirt instead of the Romita one, it goes better with your converse.” Unfortunately, the person that lives with you day in and day out will tend to see through this business-themed rationalization, and know the truth. That if you were to take away my toys and comics, I wouldn’t suddenly cease to be able to create comics or animation…I would cry for my Momma.

Thank you to everyone who has been voting for “Clumsy Love” on “Top Web Comics,” I am hoping to get it into the top 100 some day!:

Thanks again, and see you Friday!
